Feature Updates

  1. Enhancement in BSE Trusted Mode:

  • A new option has been introduced for One-Time Investment / Purchase via Mandate in Trusted Mode.

  • With this update, users can complete a one-time investment directly through the registered mandate, making the transaction process quicker and more seamless.

  • An email from BSE will go to Investor to authenticate the Purchase.

  • Where to Find:

    • Dashboard > Invest Online BSE > New Investment

  1. Introducing Honeycomb Graph in Asset Allocation Report:

  • A new Honeycomb Graph has been introduced in the Asset Allocation Report to give a more intuitive and visual representation of portfolio data across all holdings.

  • The Honeycomb view presents data for the following three sections:

    • Top 20 Security Exposure (for Mutual Funds – Debt and Equity)

    • Sector Top 10 (for Equity)

    • Rating Top 10 (for Debt)

  • Additionally, users can double-click on any section within the honeycomb to drill down and view all the underlying holdings within that segment.

  • This enhancement makes portfolio analysis more visual, structured, and easy to explore.

  • Where to Find:

    • Investor Dashboard > Reports > Asset Allocation > Scroll down to bottom (Show Holding)

  1. Step Up SIP Now Available in NSE Invest:

  • Step Up SIP functionality is now available in NSE Invest for schemes that support Half Yearly or Annual step up.

  • A new checkbox has been added in the SIP setup flow. When the SIP frequency is monthly, brokers can enable the Step Up option and choose the step up frequency as Half Yearly or Annually, along with the incremental amount.

  • Key validations:

    • Step Up Start Date cannot be earlier than the SIP Start Date.

    • Step Up End Date cannot be later than the SIP End Date.

  • This enhancement allows better long-term investment planning by gradually increasing SIP contributions over time.

  • Add Step Up:

    • Investor Dashboard > NSE Invest > New Investment > Select Supporting Schemes

  1. Create UCC for Existing Client Using Folio Details - NSE Invest:

  • A new enhancement allows brokers to create a UCC for an existing client by directly using the data available in the client’s folio details.

  • With this update, key information is auto-fetched from the folio, reducing manual data entry and minimizing errors. This helps speed up the UCC creation process and ensures better data accuracy.

  • Where to Find:

    • Dashboard > NSE Invest > Profile List > Create UCC > Existing Clients

  1. Factsheet Update: NAV Date Logic Revised:

  • We have updated the NAV Date logic in the Factsheet.

  • Going forward, the NAV Date will reflect the latest NAV date received from the RTA.

  • This ensures the factsheet always displays the most recent available NAV data for accurate reference.

  • Where to Find:

    • Dashboard > Utilities > Top Schemes

  1. Update in Sub Broker Payout Settings – Revised Payout Rules:

  • Enhancements have been made to provide more flexibility in sub broker payout configuration.

  • Category-Wise Payout Rules - Two separate inputs for Share (%) have been introduced:

    • Up to 1 Year

    • After 1 Year

  • Brokers can keep both values the same if the payout structure remains uniform, or define different percentages based on the holding period.

  • Scheme-Wise Exception Rules - The broker can use this as an exception over Category wise Payout rules.

  • These updates give brokers better control over payout structures based on tenure and scheme-level exceptions.

  • Where to Find:

    • Dashboard > Settings  > Sub Broker Payout Settings

Bugs Resolved

  1. Model Portfolio Comparison Chart – Logic Update:

  • Issue Reported:

    • The chart was setting the starting value as the current portfolio value (as of today).

    • For example, in a 5-year comparison, the starting point was today’s value instead of the actual portfolio value from 5 years ago. This made the historical chart misleading and inconsistent with the client’s real investment journey.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • The chart now plots the actual portfolio values over time, based on historical data.

    • The model portfolio values are also calculated and displayed accurately, considering historical cash flows and allocations.

  • Where to Find:

    • Dashboard > Portfolio Management > Model Portfolio

  1. Comprehensive Report – Hide Folio Option Not Masking in Unrealized Capital Gain Section:

  • While generating the Comprehensive Report, the Hide Folio No. option was selected. The folio number was successfully hidden in the Portfolio Summary section; however, it was still visible in the Unrealized Capital Gain and Folio Details sections.

  • The issue has been fixed. When the Hide Folio No option is selected, the folio number is now properly masked across all sections of the Comprehensive Report, including Unrealized Capital Gain and Folio Details.

  • Where to Find:

    • Dashboard > Portfolio Management > Comprehensive Portfolio

  1. Utilities – Market Data, NAV History Showing on Holidays:

  • Issue Reported:

    • The NAV history was displaying values for market holidays as well. Since NAVs are not generated on holidays, these entries were not expected and could cause confusion.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • The logic has been updated to exclude holiday dates from the NAV history. NAV data will now be displayed only for valid business days where NAV is officially available.

  • Where to Find:

    • Dashboard > Utilities > Market Data > NAV History

  1. Goal Planner – Matured FDs Included in Projected Value:

  • Issue Reported:

    • In the Goal Planner, matured Fixed Deposits (FDs) were being considered while calculating the projected value, even though they should not form part of future projections.

  • Issue Resolved:

    • The calculation logic has been corrected. Matured FDs are now excluded from projected value calculations, ensuring that goal projections reflect only active and relevant investments.

  • Where to Find:

    • Dashboard > Utilities > Goal Planner
